CAS-TWAS Centres of Excellence

Five centres of excellence organized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) offer a remarkable opportunity for researchers from the developing world to study, train and work in top Beijing-based laboratories.

Each of the five centres is based at existing institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing.

 

The CAS-TWAS Centre of Excellence for Green Technology (CEGT)

is based at the CAS Institute of Process Engineering.

Scheduled events at CEGT in 2016:

  • Forum: Green Chemistry and Engineering, Beijing, 13–15 July 2016
  • Training Course: Green Technology Training, Nanning, November 2016
  • International Conference: 2016 CAS-TWAS Symposium, September 2016

 

The CAS-TWAS Centre of Excellence for Biotechnology (CoEBio)

is based at the CAS Institute of Microbiology.
